Kicked off my obsession with dj’ing when close friends of mine started a Drum ‘n’ Bass / Jungle radio station called BOSS Fm back in 91.

Back then I used to hang around the studio fascinated by pirate radio, the music and all the perks of being involved with pirate radio.

One night, kicking back in the studio, graveyard shift, hovering about, dj failed to turn up, the decks were calling me, so I took it upon myself to grab some records sitting in the studio, and started to school myself on how to mix.

My main original musical influences then was everything from Rare Groove, soul, Hip Hop, disco, reggae, lover’s rock to certain pop tunes, (which I’m not going to mention!) but all and all I just loved music.

The actual track that made me sit up and take notice of house music was “what about this love” by Mr Fingers, can’t remember the year it was out, but was definitely feeling it.

And that was when my love affair with house music began the rest as they say is history…….

Main influences at the present are Masters at work, Mr Fingers, Kerri Chandler, Spen & Karizma, Joey Youngman, Mood 2 Swing, Hard soul the list goes on & on!

Reflex Sole keeps heads and body’s moving with a mix of deep, soulful, funky, jazzy jackin House.

It would be difficult to pigeon hole Reflex Sole’s Style, however, it can be described as unique, original, uncompromising and the ability to move the crowd and keep them moving wherever he plays.

Reflex sole is a versatile DJ when it comes to selection, his set can range from electro to deep soulful house, with also being a producer has a range of his own production to call upon.

Reflex sole has played at various venues across London including Fridge/Fridge bar, Question Bar, Tongue ‘N’ Groove, Dogstar to name but a few.
