MANO
HOUSE - BREAKS
Mano makes a great tight mix with no mistakes and interesting segues - there's no doubt he offers skill and dedication. If he can stick with it  he has a bright future. We love his latest demo and wish him well.
Mano in his own words:

I have been DJ'ing for around 5 years, my first gig was in a friends
basement on New Years Eve, probably the best night of my life to date and
also the night I caught the DJ bug. I was playing someone else's records ona very dodgy set of decks but it was the look on peoples faces when I put a good record on that I loved the most, and still do. Getting a reaction from a crowd gives an unbelievable buzz.

Since that night I have purchased some Technics turntables, a mixer with
effects and Pioneer CDJ1000. I have travelled the country clubbing and
amassed a huge record collection of all sorts of styles of music, with the
bulk of my collection being house, breakbeat, and anything dirty, funky or
just plain silly.

I am currently studying in Liverpool doing a Broadcast Technology Degree as I intend to work on radio in the future. The course covers all the technical aspects of broadcasting.

I have DJ'd at numerous parties and gigs including working for Golden in
Stoke, Hed Kandi nights in Stoke and other various bars in my home town. Iam ready to broaden my horizons and DJ around the UK and hopefully the
world.

My style is mainly house, including deep, dirty, funky and whatever other
genres there may be, I play a lot of breakbeat and almost anything else as
long as it's funky. I don't really play a particular style and don't want to
call myself a house DJ, or any other style of DJ for that matter. I like to
surprise people, in a good way.
