I started participating in the Electronica scene when I was 14 as strictly an audience member. I remember feeling an extensive amount of passion and strength behind certain types of music.

At the time, Hard House was my fix and I could never get enough of it. I was only around this sound at parties that my older brother's crew and I would caravan to. After a few parties, I realized that I wanted to be the person on the stage in front of thousands of people. I wanted to control the energy, the vibe, and the feel of the Electronica community.

I got my hands on a set of used turntables and some hip hop records. I learned the art of beat matching and scratching very early. I started DJing my high school dances, house parties, recreation events, fairs, birthday parties, and any other smaller venue I could squeeze myself into. I moved to Santa Barbara with my father, and this is where my career started to take flight. I was producing one hour mixes on Mini Disk players, burning them to CDs, and selling them at school. At the time, vinyl was the preferred medium. I got my first job in sales, and stood outside grocery stores selling newspapers and slanging CDs. All the money I made went to purchasing new records. After a couple years of telemarketing, side jobs, and dedication, I had a completely professional and mobile system with two big bags of vinyl. By this time, I had sold my first set of turntables, obtained a new pair, sold those, bought rack mount CD players, sold those, then landed with a set of Stanton turntables. Santa Barbara did not have a thriving club scene, nor was I old enough to indulge even if there was. Most of my gigs were college dance parties, fund raisers, quinceaneras, house parties, beach parties. After a couple years of amateur shows, I landed my first resident gig at a Kava lounge. I played there for a few hours every Friday and Saturday. I occasionally would spin along side bands to create a really cool down tempo but funky vibe.

I graduated from High school and went to the Art Institute of Los Angeles. I spent most of my time with art or music. I ending up spending more time on my music than on my art. I aced all of my classes, but I never completely finished an assigned piece of art. I realized that music is where my head was, and that even though I am a great artist, my heart lies with music. I left school, and after a series of unfortunate events, became homeless. I spent a year on the streets living in a shack next to the railroad tracks. A crew of us found this shack, and built bunks around the inside. There were about nine of us in there. I had my DJ equipment with me, and I would find extension chords, link them together, and steal electricity from neighboring building just to get a fix. Desperation forced me to sell everything but my records. I caught a break when a friend of mine offered to me a motor home in his back yard. I was able to live there in exchange that I look for work, and help him build a recording studio. This is where I was able to turn my life around.

I met up with an old boss accidentally in a restaurant, he offered me a position as a telemarketer. I took the position and went back to sales. After a few months, I had a new home and all of the gear I had sold back. I took this opportunity as a chance to grow as a DJ, and launch my DJ career. After a few more location changes, and and amazing job as a Technology Concierge, I landed my self a home with a studio built for kings. I recorded hundreds of albums, started producing music, and got my foot into the underground electronic scene.

I started DJing every weekend at underground warehouses, desert parties, loft parties, rooftop shows, art fundraisers, and built a very respected reputation as a House and Breaks DJ. None of these shows were paying gigs, and so I had to start focusing on my job once the recession got really bad. I lost my job due to the recession, and I moved to a far less expensive desert location. Palm Springs! Here is where my major break came through. I was able to make money, doing less work, and live comfortable. This allowed me to make many more albums, build multiple websites, focus on my producing, and land gigs at every major club on the strip of Palm Springs. The scene is different, so I made the essential adjustments and adapted with the audience. At this time, I am experienced in almost every genre, every type of medium, and claim myself as being a well rounded and incredibly passionate DJ/Artist. Being a break dancer my whole life, music and performance is my love, and the stage is my canvas. "Music is Life, Life is Love, Love is Music"
