Coventry based DJ, Chris Carter’s love of dance music, and
particularly
trance in all it’s guises, stems from clubbin’ in some of the best
clubs in
the Midlands, especially Godskitchen, Passion and Sundissential.
Like many
he was encouraged to try for himself the ‘art’ of mixing, but unlike
many he
found he had a natural talent for getting clean, seamless mixes.
This love
of music and his ability means he can play anything from 9 pm
warm-up sets
to ‘bangin’ prime time, big room trance sets. His style is
progressive,
uplifting, euphoric trance and he intuitively knows what his
audience is
responding to and is able to get the atmosphere and the room
buzzing. The
sets are played to raise spirits and uplift the crowd.
He started his DJ career in local clubs and bars in Walsall, and
Weston-Super-Mare, where often the proximity to the crowd meant he
had to
learn to please them! He has played regularly at many local parties
and
private events with regular requests for return gigs. Being
centrally based
in Coventry, he is willing to accept bookings throughout the UK.

From these very quiet beginnings he
now wants to bring his talent and
passion for music to a wider audience and has an ambition to play in
Europe
and especially Holland – the spiritual home of Trance. He
successfully
graduated from DJ Kingdom Academy achieving high marks in all areas
and
impressing the Tutors with his mixing abilities and techniques. He
has
recently spent time in Barry Diston’s ‘Fidget’ studio and produced
his first
tune ‘Autumn’. The second tune will be ready before Christmas and
more
‘home grown’ productions can be expected in his sets in the future.
He admires DJs and producers Ferry Corsten, Above & Beyond and JFK.
His
favourite labels are ‘Somatic Sense’ and ‘Tsunami’ |
